NEGRIL RECEIVED HIGHEST RANKING IN JAMAICA
Couples Negril has received top ranking in Travel
& Leisure’s annual Reader’s Poll World’s Best Awards, among hotels
in the Caribbean, Bermuda and Bahamas. “The prestigious Reader’s Poll
World’s Best Awards is considered the most reliable key anywhere to excellence
in travel,” states Couples Resorts President and CEO Paul Pennicook. “It is
a testimony to our ongoing commitment to provide an outstanding vacation

Negril was ranked number seven among the top 25 hotels in the Caribbean, Bermuda
and the Bahamas. The resort was the highest ranking Jamaican resort, as well as
the highest ranking all-inclusive resort in the region, receiving a rating of
86.21%.
Since 1996, Travel & Leisure magazine has been surveying readers, asking
them to rate various elements of their travels, from hotels to spas to cruise
lines. The 2002 World’s Best Awards is the magazine’s most comprehensive to
date, the product of hundreds of thousands of evaluations.
 
Couples Negril is

Room Categories and descriptions:
There are nine room blocks three levels high, no building is higher than the tallest coconut tree, with between 21 and 30 rooms on each block. All rooms except suites are the same in furnishings and fixtures.
Deluxe Garden View: Located throughout the property, each has a private balcony. Total: 101
Deluxe Ocean View: Located on the third floor of each block and on lower floors close to the ocean, some ocean views may be partial. Total: 67
Deluxe Beach Front: Located on the blocks closest to the ocean, blocks 1, 5, 6, 9, these offer partial ocean and beach views. Total: 48
Beachfront Suites: Located at the ends of each block, suites are one large room and have Jacuzzi, mini bar, coffee and tea facilities and a lounge area. Suite patios have a hammock. Total: 18
All rooms are air conditioned with private bath and a balcony or patio, king size beds, satellite television, CD player and radio (guests should bring their own CD's), telephone, hair dryer, coffee and coffee maker.
